Who We are

Udara Bali offers a uniquely designed Spa and relaxation area at the center of the resort. The facilities include a sauna, steam room, infrared sauna, hot and cold plunge pools, ice bath, swimming pool with pool bar access, warm water Watsu pool, meditation cave, and a relaxation area on the grass with bean bags and umbrellas. 

The architecture of the Spa facilities is truly unique, featuring a grotto, small pathways, intricate carvings, statues, and the soothing sounds of dripping water. We encourage you to move through Udara with intention, letting the architecture guide you toward a deeper connection with the environment and yourself. 

Udara was built with the intention of activating your senses and enhancing mindfulness—a gentle invitation to slow down and find presence with every step. Please note that our grounds are intentionally designed with rustic, uneven terrain, which is best enjoyed by the sure-footed. However, this layout may present challenges for guests with limited mobility or impairments. We invite you to embrace the unique design as a form of intentional, focused moving meditation.

Our pool landscape inside the Spa grotto includes 4 small lagoons. There is a Jacuzzi in the warm plunge pool for a bubbly relaxation and a cold plunge pool, cooled down to around 15° for a refreshing dip after the Sauna.

Ice baths have already been used for thousands of years in many different civilizations as a way to improve health and wellbeing. Immersing your body in about 5-10 degrees cold water regularly has various benefits for body and mind. It is a great way to cool down on a hot Bali day or after staying in the sauna.

Warm water Watsu Pool

The 35° warm water Watsu pool is used for individual Water Healing treatments, Water Yoga and Floating sessions. Besides the classes and sessions, the pool is free for your own use to swim, float or relax. An underwater speaker inside the pool with soft music will bring you into a beautiful space of deep relaxation. Feel free to use some of the foam noodles to float on the water surface and enjoy a beautiful feeling of weightlessness and a meditative state.

Steam Room

Immerse yourself in our unique Steam Room, featuring a shining glass ball design and terrazzo-covered stone benches. This humid steam sauna benefits the respiratory system, opens pores, and leaves your skin feeling soft and rejuvenated.

Infrared Sauna

​Experience the next generation of wellness in our beautiful Infrared Sauna. Crafted from light, natural wood, this spacious sauna features a gently curving bench and state-of-the-art infrared heating panels. Unlike traditional saunas, infrared light penetrates deep into the body's tissue, providing a profoundly relaxing and detoxifying sweat at a more comfortable, lower temperature. It's an ideal choice for soothing muscles, boosting metabolism, and enjoying a deeply restorative session in a tranquil setting.

Pool Bar and Main Pool

Our largest pool faces the beautiful Indian ocean. With a temperature of about 25°C and access to our pool bar, it is the perfect place to stretch your muscles and take a swim!

Relaxation Area & Meditation Cave

After your treatments and in between your sauna sessions, you can relax in the meditation cave at the back side of the grotto or lie down on the grass area on a bean bag to catch some sunrays or relax under an umbrella in the shade.

Finnish Sauna

Discover our wooden dry heat experience, located inside the unique Kura Kura—the Indonesian word for turtle—at the very heart of Udara. This traditional sauna is the perfect place to sweat out toxins, improve circulation, and feel completely renewed. Your experience is enhanced by sauna infusions made from high-quality aroma oils, enveloping you in scents that deepen your relaxation.
